Reviews
Not bad, definitely have improved in the year since I have been there. Screen quality is good, audio could be improved. Trailers never run for too long which is definitely a massive plus in comparison with other theatres. Seats are comfortable, with plenty of leg room. Carpet and overall design is a little outdated though.
Still, a great cinema. Would recommend.
Great cinema, definitely go back again
We watched tge 10.00 am screening of Oppenheimer on 5th September 2023. After about one hour into this three hour movie the projected image started to freeze thus ruining our experience. The stops exceeded 30 yes THIRTY in number and ranged from a second to up to a minute or even longer. I complained and we got a refund.
The sound was loud enough to cause deafness with this movie featuring extensive use of excessinvely loud sound to make its point. My three star rating includes past more enjoyable screenings at this venue. I hope they have fixed the issue by the time you visit. 🙏
Do not order the banana bread, I think it’s a requirement to have butter on toasted banana bread. They don’t offer this, so you can choke on dry banana bread whilst watching your film.
Took the kids to watch wonka really good movie they enjoyed it
A much quieter option than Tuggerah but still has all you need!
My favourite cinema, I drive the hour from Newcastle fairly regularly because it's so good, amazing selection of films (mainstream and more arthouse), good screens, funky retro decor and amazingly clean every time. The staff are always helpful and the prices are great. Reminds me of Tower Cinemas. Love this place
You can’t beat Metro Cinemas! The ticket price alone is worth going. Plenty of leg room and comfy seats in the cinemas. All the snacks you could want and friendly staff. We don’t go anywhere else 👍🏼 …
